Shirley Owens: Hello and welcome back. Today, I'm reflecting on my convo with Thomas Westenholz. One of the many things we talked about was the emotional bank account. I am in love with this metaphor. oftentimes, especially with those that make good money, time spent away from work is looked at as a negative, like money is draining out of your account. When we put the two accounts next to each other, in our minds, either one or the other is getting filled all the time. In this scenario, the only actual time your accounts are going into the negative is when time is being wasted or misused. I want you to think about your life. How much are you depositing into your loved ones emotional bank accounts? Is it less than you're taking away? If so, it only makes sense that your relationships are going backwards.

This week, I would have you be aware of where you're making deposits. Think of fun ways to put into your loved ones accounts. Write a note, surprise them with something. Give them a gift, massage, some of your time. Listen to them, what are their needs? What makes them feel loved? Really be intentional around this. I promise, if you make deposits, you will see the wealth and your relationships start to grow. I love you all, have a beautiful week filled with love and intention, and I will see you next Tuesday.
